Katherine Heigl reveals her experiences living in a white bubble changed the way she parented her adopted multiracial family. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said in the past that in terms of the color of her skin there is no difference. But after speaking to her sister, who was adopted in South Korea she realized just the way society views the children. "I I asked my sister Meg whether she'd received the same treatment when she went going out with us parents and a different way in the time she was by herself without them. Meg replied, "Oh, yes, every all the time! Heigl revealed to Parents that she realized the extent of her ignorance. Heigl admitted she became frustrated and thought it was important to focus the anger she felt on the adopted children she has. Heigl, who has been married to Josh Kelley for 13 years and has a son named Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. The couple adopted their daughters Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide, 8 who is Black from South Korea in 2012.
