Thousands of students around the globe joined in the #FridaysforFuture protest, avoiding classes on Fridays to protest the effects of climate changes. Climate activists from across the globe came together to coordinate the initial Global Strike for Climate. The event was hugely successful. Over 1.6 million people from 125 nations took part.
