The baby was born on 29 March 1985 at Roswell near New Mexico. Gerina Michelle is her maiden name. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico to Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Stevenson is of Mexican origins, however she is American by nationality. From the time she was a kid, she's had a keen interest in playing activities. Gerina began to play golf when she was 15 years old. Gerina finished her High School studies through Goddard High School. When she was a student in high school she won at the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. She was also an athlete in volleyball who played at the state level. In 2003, she started her studies in The University of Texas. As a senior, she took home the top prize in every tournament she took part in. In her undergraduate career, she won the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and UTEP Female athlete of the Year.
